I know I said last year that I would blog everyday, obviously that didn't happen so I'm not going to make that promise this year. As a matter of fact I'm not making any New Year's Resolutions this year. Now, as a family, my husband and I have set our goals together for this year, but individually, I'm not going down that route this year.

This past year has truly been a year of new beginnings in teaching. Don't really know where or how to explain that, but it's been a different year. I still enjoy teaching, but this year has been a trying year. Not trying in a bad way, but trying in a growing stretching uncomfortable way, if that makes any sense.

I'm not afraid of being uncomfortable, but I don't always like it. I do know that God must make us uncomfortable to make us stronger and better. It is up to me to decide what to do and how to handle this uncomfortableness.

2012 is over and 2013 is upon us. I'm very excited about this year and the things to come. I'm claiming victory or trials, new adventures and what God has for me it is for me. I'm not sure where next year will take me God will take me next year, but I know all power is in His hands, my Creator and Savior.

It's time to step up and do some things I don't want to do, but have to do. Face somethings I've been running away from and just do it.

This is our year (Jay and I). I know God will bless us with those things we've been praying about and He will not lead us astray. To God be the glory forever.
