So Tired...

I don't know why I'm so tired today. I felt like to day went on forever and I could not wait to get home and do nothing. That's exactly what I'm doing now...almost. So, I have not kept up with my goal of blogging everyday. I'm going to have to do a better job, even if I just say hi!
My husband is in the kitchen cooking dinner. He cooks, cleans, and even does the laundry. I do believe I have the best husband in the world!
I came in today looking for the TV remote and then I remembered we are fasting from TV during the week. So, I turned on my Kirk Franklin station on Pandora and did some work for the sorority.
Now that I think about it the title of this blog should by Busy Pearl and not Married Pearl. But in talking with my husband, sometimes it feels good to run around like a chicken with your head cut off? Maybe?
I left work, ran to campus, met with a soror, tutored and came home. I won't even begin to explain the next three months. I just keep praying to God for strength to get me to April. I believe then I will be able to see light at the end of the tunnel.

I showed the video today to my students to prepare for the MLK Holiday. Go to Brainpop for the video. Then go to Laura Candler's Teacher Pay Teacher Page to download her materials that go with the video. Tomorrow we are going to listen to the audio of the speech and read along. They will then write their own version of the speech.

Finally, when is the last time you've seen one of these!

I told my tutee it was a modern day slap bracelet. She looked at me and laughed. They don't seem as dangerous anymore.
