Another Chapter Closes
I have three days left of graduate school. I can't believe it is coming to an end. Not only have I learned so much about my profession, but I've been re-energized as a teacher and teacher leader.
I can't wait to have my summers back. This summer has been full of classes, teaching dance, and meetings. I don't think I've gone anywhere but home. It's also been a summer of changes. My first summer as Mrs. Hawkins, the fire at Grandaddy's house, and my big sister's wedding. My husband begins his doctorate in the fall and I begin my seventh year of teaching.
I better get to bed. Early morning, but the first of the three that are left. Graduation here I come!
